Chartered Institute of Human Capital Development of Nigeria Professional Examination (HCDPE) Commencement 1stApril, 2020.
Procedure
Step 1: The applicant or aspiring member pays a sum of #5,000 (Five Thousand, Naira Only) into any of the Institutes designated bank accounts. (Being payment for application forms)
Step 2: The applicant will download the Institute’s application forms from our website (www.cihcdn.org) alongside other information necessary for him/her to complete the forms properly.
Step 3: The applicant prints out the downloaded forms and carefully completes them attaching his/her passport photograph, updated CV, copies of academic credentials and evidence of payment for application form. Completed application forms should be sent via the Institute’s email: cihcdng@gmail.com or admin@cihcdn.org, it could also be submitted at any of the Institute’s office/coordinators nationwide.
Step 4: The submitted application forms will be evaluated and processed. Afterwards, the Institute will communicate the applicant for possible exemption(s) where applicable. Applicants who are to write the professional examination will do so anytime of the year after downloading the Institute Examination App on their mobile applications/devices/computer system. Please note; Applicants are to study on their own and prepare for the examination. The materials needed will be provided after the payment of relevant fees.
Step 5: Those who passed the professional examination would be formally notified.
Successful candidates will be required to make relevant payments to confirm their admission. Such payment will include:
Ø Annual Subscription fee
Ø Development levy
Ø Induction fee
At the end of this process, the applicant would have satisfied the necessary requirements for admission into membership.
Step 6: The Institute will then communicate the successful candidates details of their formal Investiture, where they will be inducted and issued with membership certificates.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA
ASSOCIATE – a.hcd
· A Minimum of B.Sc/HND or its equivalent from any recognized tertiary institution
· Successful completion of relevant competency module(s)
MEMBER – m.hcd
· In addition to the requirement in (1) above, candidates under this category must hold a MBA/MSc or any other Masters Degree.
· Must possess a working experience of not less than 10 years.
· Successful completion of relevant competency module(s)
Note: Membership of professional bodies and or PhD may qualify candidates for relevant exemptions.
