Nigeria’s Fastest -Growing Human Capital Institute
Dr Sunday Ekune has been appointed Registrar and Chief Executive of Chartered Institute of Human Capital Development of Nigeria.
Until the new appointment, Dr Sunday Aniogor Ekune served as the immediate past Registrar/Chief Executive officer of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) till 31st March, 2018 where he worked for 20 years, during that time, he had served as the acting Director-General, Nigerian College of Accountancy, Jos (the Training Arm of ANAN) from 2010 to 2012. Dr Ekune had worked with Aswani Group of Companies as Admin/Finance Manager as well as with Messrs S.O Nzekwe & Co (Certified National Accountants) as Consulting Partner before joining ANAN in 1998.
Dr Ekune holds B.S.c (Hons) degree in Business Administration (1995) from University of Lagos and M.Sc. degree in Finance (2006) from Lagos State University. He received honourary Doctorate degree DBA in Business Administration after attending the Dubai Leadership Summit of Common Wealth University/London Graduate School in December 2014.
Dr. Ekune is a fellow of Chartered Institute of Human Capital Development of Nigeria, fellow of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria. He is also a member of other professional bodies in Nigeria and abroad, which includes: MABE London, Chartered Institute of Marketing England, Nigerian Institute of Management, to mention but a few.
Dr Ekune has attended special seminars and workshops on Leaderships Governance organised locally and internationally including the one held at Pan African University Lagos, University of Pittsburgh USA and Irish Management Institute/University College Cork, Ireland etc.
He is married and blessed with lovely children.
The appointment takes effect from 1st July, 2020.
